I Miss The Stars In The Sky (Small Framed Print)
The following unique story comes printed as part of the product:
Maria Langan was born in Castlebar, Co Mayo. She moved to London in 2008 at the age of 23 after graduating as a nurse and not being able to get work in Ireland during the recession. She loves the open mindedness and diversity of living in London and has thrived in her career during her time here. Positive parts of her emigration experience have been progressing in her career as a nurse here and continuing to meet people from all over the world. However, she misses the wildness, the craic and Irish humour. 11 years on at the age of 34 Maria is still not sure whether England or Ireland is her home. Aside from her career as a nurse Maria is a talented photographer. For her, relocating to London came at the cost of a compromised view of the night sky. “I have a wonder for what lies past the light pollution and seek to observe its glory at any chance of a clear sky. The Doolagh Valley, Co. Mayo is a favourite place to get a glimpse of the magnificent Milky Way.”
Each print of original water colour and pen drawing is limited to 40 editions on each size and is signed and numbered by me, the artist.
